Slacker’s name is derived from the term that was given to me from those less knowledgeable. Moving home from college in 2001, after three years, I was responsible for the care of my grandparents for the following three years. During that period, people would ask what about college, and truthfully that didn’t concern me. I had bigger things at hand and would let that fall into place when the time came.
So the time is now and after moving out and starting my journey, I think back and question the relevance of people, ignorantly tossing around my hardships for comfort, and laugh. Slacker was created to show just how much someone who won’t amount to anything, contributes to society.
